While no vehicle is perfect, the 2020 BMW iX3 and the Chevrolet Bolt EV are two of the best looking, driving, and convenient mass-market electric vehicles on the market. Both go on sale in early 2021.
With two gas-powered variants, the BMW iX3 is the most expensive of the bunch, starting at $57,200 for the 320-hp rear-drive model and $72,500 for the 340-hp all-wheel-drive model. The iX3 comes with an eight-inch infotainment display, a heated steering wheel, and a heated and ventilated leather interior. The only drawback for the electrified BMW is its range, which is rated at 273 miles. This is due to the limited battery capacity of the tiny 205-kWh pack, which is more than double the battery capacity of the BMW i3. It's a good thing the all-electric iX3 is $8000 cheaper than the gas-powered i3.
Although it’s typically one of the more affordable of the Electric Vehicles on the market, the Mini Cooper SE offers a lot of bang for the buck. It’s the perfect car for those seeking an economical but fun drive. 827ec27edc
