If you have received a message similar to the ones displayed below when trying to install your product, stating the serial number you are using is invalid, or has been revoked, it is because the serial number you are attempting to use has been blocked by Adobe.
Adobe blocks serial numbers that have not been issued by Adobe, or have been used fraudulently by unauthorized sellers to produce counterfeit software. Unfortunately, you may only know the serial number has been blocked for this reason when re-activating or reinstalling Adobe software.
Your 24-digit redemption code can be found under the silver scratch-off label on product cards, on an insert in a boxed product, or included in the body of an email if you did not purchase a physical product. Depending on how you purchased your product, you may also need a serial number to activate it.
The contact information doesn't match what is already associated with the serial number when the product was registered. This can happen if there is a change to your name, the company name, or your address after the product was registered. Keep your contact information up-to-date using Register Once. There, you can add an account with your current information, register products to that account, and delete your old accounts, or those with outdated information.
Otherwise, visit AVA (Autodesk Virtual Agent) to resolve the issue and automatically receive an activation code or connect with an agent. Provide your serial number, request code, and contact information
Has the location of this utility changed? I'm having the same issue and need to update the serial number on Z400 with replacement motherboard. BIOS allows me to change the number, but the internal number (Reported by HP Advisor or auto-detect) is still not maching my serial number stickers on the machine.
If the first digit of the EAN-13 number is "0", then the remaining digits are aUPC-A barcode number. Either the 13-digit EAN-13 number, or the 12-digit UPC-Anumber should be printed as barcode on the rear-side of the CD package. The first some digits contain a country code (EAN only, not UPC), followed by amanufacturer code, followed by a serial number. The last digit contains achecksum, which can be calculated as 250 minus the sum of the first 12 digits, minus twice the sum of each second digit, modulated by 10.ADR=2 isn't included on all CDs, and, many CDs do have ADR=2, but the 13 digitsare all zero. Most CDROM drives do not allow to read EAN/UPC numbers. If present, ADR=2 should exist in at least 1 out of 100 consecutive sectors.ADR=2 may occur also in Lead-in. 2b1af7f3a8
