The business information reflected in your online booking site can be edited from the Locations section of your online Square Dashboard. Settings for staff and appointments services can be edited from your Dashboard as well.
You can create a free website with Square Online and allow clients to book appointments, purchase items, and stay up-to-date with your business. Bookings and orders from your website are automatically synced with Square Appointments and your POS.
Schedule an appointment and include details such as client contact information, appointment location, notes, or add a Card on File for your client. All client information is saved to your Client List. Learn more about client management.
When adding a service, you will see a Recently Booked option that makes it easier to find and select recently booked services at your business location. This option allows you to quickly create new appointments based on previous bookings.
A staff member schedules or edits their own appointment: The staff member can send the client a customised email or text notification. The staff taking the action and the owner will not receive notification of the appointment.
A staff member schedules or edits an appointment for a different staff member: The staff taking the action can send the client a notification via email or text. Both the staff member assigned to the reservation (not taking action on the appointment) and the owner will get notifications.
You can assign a color to each service and view your calendar by service instead of by staff member. If there are multiple services for an appointment, the appointment will show multiple colors on your calendar.
You can send your clients a digital QR code, or print out your QR code and display it on your shopfront or countertop so customers can scan it and be taken directly to your online booking site to book their own appointments.
In addition to client appointments, you can add personal events to help keep your schedule centralized. Booking a personal event, like a lunch, will update your status to unavailable for online booking during the length of the event.
Depending on your preference, you can review each requested appointment from your clients before accepting, or automatically accept all appointments when they are requested. Configure your settings via your online Square Dashboard.
Enabling No-Show Protection will require clients enter their card information before the appointment is successfully booked. When you enable No-Show Protection, you can set the minimum amount of time you require for a cancellation and also the dollar or percentage to charge if your client cancels outside of your cut-off time.
With Square Appointments, you can create and send contactless agreements from your online Square Dashboard for free, automatically send them to your customers when an appointment is booked, and get their signatures via email before their next service.
The Square Appointments app lets you view, create, edit, and accept appointments. You can also view your client information and charge customers for appointments directly from the app. When your customer is ready to pay, just select Review and Check Out. Services and items will automatically populate from the appointment details.
View your entire appointment history at any time. Appointments history allows you to search by client name, service, or staff. You can also have the ability to export this information into a CSV file.
24 hour advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment. 781b155fdc
