I saw this movie when it first came out and it did not disappoint. It was classic Scooby Doo. The theme was a bit different and the Scooby gang was a bit different. They did come together in one to conclude the movie though, and I hope to see future movies follow suit. I especially enjoyed the major role played by the werewolf.
Despite my previous statement, Scooby Doo & gang are about to get into some serious trouble when they all happen to find the witch doctor Doom at the same time. Although this movie is a very short that focuses on about 11-12 minutes or so of enjoyment... you can tell that more can be made of the storyline...and more can be said about characters... with more scenes. The kid's reaction to Professor "Beast" was hilarious. I felt bad for him- and it made me cringe. A scene where the werewolf consumes his girlfriend was very beautiful to watch. I wish an episode like the one he did used to be made of his character.
The plot of this movie is so god damn simple it's unreal. Three kids (Dude, Roo, Doug), travel to a school for ghouls. Yeah? It's that simple. And that's how this movie ends. Nothing more happens. There's nothing extra added to the plot. That could have been a really good movie if it had continued with the plot. This movie is just a filler I guess because it takes about 15 minutes to watch. For the next 15 minutes, you're just going to see stuff like werewolf running around and jerk a ton of stuff. And there's not much else to this movie. Sure, it's fun to see what werewolf looks like. Most of the time, he's just plain. There are not any interesting characters in this movie.
